All of our children have always been in the public schools, as have my wife and I.

Like many of you, we moved to Lexington for the schools. My family and I have lived in Lexington for over ten years and in the greater Boston area for almost twenty five years. My wife Misook and I have three wonderful (and beautiful) daughters: Terri-Anne, who graduated from Dartmouth College and will begin law school in Fall '06; Jeanne, a sophomore at Syracuse University; and Ashley, a fourth-grader in Ms. Michael's class at Bridge Elementary.

I'm a business and IT consultant with over twenty years experience. I worked at Lotus Development Corp. in the late '80s and early '90s on their vaunted Lotus Notes product and have run my own consulting firm since 1995. I've worked on projects for some of the largest corporations in the world and many federal, state and municipal government agencies. I've also consulted for many small and medium sized businesses.

I've also worked for the federal government in contracting and procurement. I have hands-on experience working with budgets, contracts and purchasing in the government environment.

I've written many technical and business articles for technical journals, and I've spoken at many seminars and trade shows.

I've consulted in many of today's key industries, and I believe I know not only what companies and agencies are looking for when they seek to hire graduates of Lexington public schools, but also what our students need to know to find and to create their own careers and their futures. I'd like the opportunity to share this with our children and our educational professionals.

I've been fortunate to enjoy a richly rewarding life. I'm a musician, an award-winning songwriter, a black belt in the Korean martial art of Hapkido, and you've probably seen me jogging the streets of Lexington.
